The Mules Booster Club has named Kiley Bess and Dominique Hardimon of Poplar Bluff High School the November Athletes of the Month, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. 

Dominique, a junior, has averaged 27.5 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per game in the first two victories of the season, according to his coach Will Durden. In the classroom, Dominique maintains a 9.0 grade point average. 

“Dom is a coach’s dream player,” Durden stated. “He tries harder than any other player and he is an even better student and role model.” 

Kiley, a sophomore, has averaged 21.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 6.3 steals per game thus far, with a free throw success rate of 68 percent, according to her coach John David Pattillo. She most recently scored 30 points against Cape Central in the consolidation final of the SEMO Conference Tournament. She is an honor roll student with an 11.143 GPA.

“Kiley has been a great student-athlete and will continue to grow as a leader in all she does,” Pattillo said.
