Groundbreaking kicks off buildings plan

About 50 supporters came out on Friday, March 20, to celebrate the groundbreaking for the Poplar Bluff Junior High School addition, which will include a FEMA safe room and nine new classrooms, among other renovations. (more…)

Superintendent’s Report: Construction set to begin

**UPDATE** The buildings plan groundbreaking has been postponed until Friday, March 20, due to inclement weather. The ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. in the Junior High cafeteria, and then at 8:30 we will move out to the construction site where ground will officially be broken. (more…)

Business leaders provide students real world budget lesson

On Wednesday, Feb. 4, in E.T. Peters Gym, Ozark Federal Credit Union hosted a Reality Fair, its third budget-planning event involving Poplar Bluff Schools, with the participation of 280 high school seniors along with 38 local businesses and organizations. (more…)

Rubik’s Cube whiz kid

Fourth grader Ethan Hudlow of Oak Grove Elementary School received media attention last week when news broke that the 9-year-old was registering to vie in a World Cube Association sanctioned Rubik’s Cube competition April 25 in Texas. (more…)

Poplar Bluff Tech Camp 2015
