O’Neal Counseling Update: Please Send Us Your Gently Used Backpacks!

O’Neal needs gently used backpacks for our Backpacks for Fridays program to send food for the weekend home with students in need. The backpacks we use are not withstanding the wear and tear of the school year, or they have been misplaced.

Two students from O’Neal Elementary, second grader Blake Brown and Grace Neighbors of the third grade, won the Butler County Community Resource Council’s sixth annual spelling bee, sponsored by Fox Radio Network, on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the County Road 448 station headquarters. (more…)

O’Neal Prepares for Math-A-Thon and St. Jude Event Nights

O’Neal Elementary and other schools in the Poplar Bluff R-I School District are joining thousands of schools around the country to take part in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Math-A-Thon, a free, education-based program for grades K-8 that benefits the hospital while helping kids improve their math skills.
